A preparatory session of the 11th national congress of the Vietnam Journalists Association (VJA) for the 2020-2025 tenure was held in Hanoi on Thursday drawing more than 550 delegates representing over 27,000 VJA members nationwide.

With the motto “Solidarity-Discipline-Renovation-Creativity-Development”, the Congress is an important step to building the Vietnamese revolutionary press towards modernity, professionalism and humanity. Vietnamese journalists are encouraged to continue their tradition, join efforts to develop Vietnam’s journalism, and  actively integrate into regional and international press.
