Vietnam National Assembly Television developed into in-depth political discourse channel

The Vietnam National Assembly Television, from a TV channel under the Voice of Vietnam, has expanded in broadcasting time, programs, technical infrastructure and quality of staff.

The TV station celebrated its 7th anniversary in Hanoi on Wednesday as a media agency of the National Assembly, which bridges National Assembly deputies and voters. It aims to become the leading professional, in-depth, and attractive political discourse TV channel in Vietnam.

At the celebration, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue applauded the maturity of Vietnam National Assembly Television, which he said is making an important contribution to popularizing activities of the legislature to the audiences nationwide.

He outlined future orientations: “The Vietnam National Assembly Television needs to continue to thoroughly grasp the Party’s guidelines on press work and press planning and create consensus in the organization and implementation. More attention should be paid to renovating program production to ensure broadcasting time and serve the essential political information tasks of the country with a minimum rate of 70 % of total broadcasts in a day.”

The National Assembly Television launched a digital ecosystem at quochoitv.vn, which will serve as the center for digital content covering activities of the National Assembly, its leaders, agencies, and deputies.
