Vietnam peacekeeping force honored

The level-two field hospital No.1 of the Vietnam People's Army was honored at a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday, after completing a UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh called participating in UN peacekeeping activities a breakthrough in Vietnam's foreign policy and multilateral cooperation, particularly defense-security cooperation. I'm very happy to welcome the 63 staff members of the field hospital back safely. I praise the staff members for following all UN regulations, local laws, and others of the Vietnam People's Army, and for ensuring safety during their mission, said Mr. Binh.
