Vietnam ranks 5th at 20th Asian Physics Olympiad

The eight-member Vietnamese delegation to the 20th Asian Physics Olympiad have won two silver and five bronze medals and a certificate of merit.

The two silver medals came to Trinh Duy Hieu, a 12th grader of Bac Giang gifted school and Nguyen Xuan Ung, a 12th grader of Hanoi National University's School specialized in Natural Sciences. The competition, which was held last week in Australia, drew contestants from 22 countries and territories. Vietnam ranked 5th after China, Russia, Israel, and Taiwan (China).
