Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has signed a decree requesting the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs to work with other agencies to come up with policies on protecting, supporting, and nurturing orphans and particularly children orphaned by COVID-19. The decree stresses the importance to focus on children’s mental health care and communications campaigns to call for community support. Provincial and municipal People’s Committees are requested to inspect the implementation of COVID-19 prevention guidelines and speed up safe vaccination for children.
