Vietnam U22 squad wins South Korean K.League All Star team

Vietnam's National U22 Football Squad won South Korean K.League All Star team 1-0 in a friendly match in My Dinh stadium, Hanoi, on Saturday.

Vietnamese chief coach Nguyen Huu Thang said after the match: I think a draw would be better. The South Korean team did not utilize most of their strength. They flew here yesterday and did not have enough time to adapt to local weather conditions and practice. South Korean team is a leading team in Asia and we need to learn from them.

The friendly football match was part of activities to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment diplomatic ties between Vietnam and South Korea (December 22). The Vietnam team will compete in the upcoming Southeast Asian games to be held in Malaysia next month.
