Vietnam persistently implements the “one China” policy, spokesperson of Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang said on Wednesday. Responding to a reporter’s question about the current situation of the Taiwan Strait (China), Hang said Vietnam wants relevant parties to exercise restraint, not to escalate tensions in the Taiwan Strait, and actively contribute to maintaining peace and stability, and promoting cooperation and development in the region and the wider world.
