Vietnam wants to learn from Estonia’s e-government experience: PM
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Friday praised Estonia's e-government model, saying that the country's experience in this field will be a good lesson for Vietnam.
At a meeting with Estonian Foreign Minister Sven Mikser in Hanoi, the Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam welcomes Estonian experts' travels to Vietnam to support its e-government building process. Phuc expressed his belief that the bilateral trade ties will be uplifted especially in economics, trade, and investment. Mikser said he hopes that his visit, the first of its kind, will create a new driving force for bilateral relations, as there is vast potential for cooperation, especially in the fields of e-government and e-governance. He also expressed his belief that the two countries' relations will grow strongly in the time ahead. He stressed that Estonia will help boost the EU's signing of a free trade agreement with Vietnam, and will be one of the first countries to ratify the document.
