Vietnamese beauty, talent honored on International Women’s Day

Ho Chi Minh City hosted an ao dai (traditional long dress) festival in Nguyen Hue pedestrian street on Sunday.

The event marks the 179th anniversary of the Trung Sisters Uprising and the 109th International Women's Day. At the event, participants in ao dai created a giant ancient tree at HCM City's centre, which aimed to convey a message of a green and peace-loving city.
