Vietnamese hospital achieves ISO certification

The Dialysis Department of Thong Nhat Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday became the first Vietnamese facility to achieve the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification.

The effort to achieve ISO certification has fostered a culture of continuous improvement, high performance, and high reliability in conforming to international standards.

The department currently provides dialysis to an average of 30 inpatients and 80 outpatients per day.

The certificate, issued by the International Organization for Standardization, an independent, non-governmental organization with a global network of national standards bodies, is a set of quality management standards that enable organizations like Thong Nhat Hospital to meet and exceed customer expectations through continuous process improvement.
