Vietnamese NA Chairman and Japanese Senate President Engage in Talks.

Tokyo: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and President of the House of Councilors of Japan Sekiguchi Masakazu held talks in Tokyo on December 5 as part of the Vietnamese top legislator's official visit to Japan. According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting between the two leaders aimed to strengthen the bilateral relations between Vietnam and Japan. Discussions focused on various aspects of cooperation, including economic ties, cultural exchange, and regional security issues. Both sides expressed a strong commitment to enhancing the strategic partnership between their countries. The talks also covered collaboration in addressing global challenges such as climate change and the COVID-19 pandemic. Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized the importance of continued cooperation in these areas, highlighting Vietnam's efforts in sustainable development and pandemic management. President Sekiguchi Masakazu reiterated Japan's support for Vietnam's initiatives and stressed the significance of mutual understandi ng and cooperation in achieving shared goals. The meeting concluded with both leaders agreeing to maintain regular dialogues to further foster the relationship between Vietnam and Japan.
