Le Duong Thanh and his “LA tattoo family” team won four awards of the Bali Tattoo Expo 2022 held last week in Indonesia.

Thanh was awarded for the most detailed tattoo, the most terrifying tattoo, the most oriental tattoo and the best black and white full-arm tattoo. In the black and white full-arm tattoo category, Thanh applied the image of a map of Vietnam, ao dai (traidtional dress), and One Pillar Pagoda made on a male model three years ago. All the symbols of Vietnam in the shape of the letter S quickly gained traction.

Thousands of tattooists from 110 teams around the world competed at Bali Tattoo Expo 2022, the biggest annual tattoo event in Bali.

Le Duong Thanh, who was born in Long An province, is preparing to another international tattoo contest due for September 2022 in Berlin, Germany. In his 10-year career as a tattooist, Thanh has won 20 awards.
