Lenger Seafood Vietnam Company has shipped its first container of canned clam meat to Europe. Tran Dinh Luan, Chief of the Directorate of Fisheries, said that the export of Vietnamese clam products to the European market for the first time is a good sign, confirming that the country’s clam farming and processing have met strict quality standards.

The container, with 200,000 cans, is is the first in an order of ten containers, which will be delivered next year.
