PANO The Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam Center of Scientific and Cultural Activities opened an exhibition to introduce Vietnam's former country names and capital cities at the Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) in Hanoi on February 25.

Accordingly, over 30 file photos and 20 woodblocks dating from the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945) record adequate information about former names and capital cities of Vietnam before 1945.

The one-day event helped local residents and visitors learn more about the glorious history of national salvation and building of the Vietnamese people, as well as about the country's documentary heritage items.
