Vietnam’s Traditional Products Shine at Tokyo Charity Fair

Tokyo: The women's union of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan showcased an array of Vietnam's traditional products at a charity fair organized by the Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) in Tokyo. The event took place on April 23 and stands as one of the largest annual activities of the ALFS, aiming to raise funds to support women and children in member countries, while also promoting cultural exchanges and popularizing the images of the participating countries.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the charity fair this year featured 23 booths from various embassies in Tokyo alongside 22 others set up by Japanese localities and enterprises. High-profile attendees included the spouse of Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, Princess Hitachinomiya Hanako, ALFS President Mariko Nakasone, as well as numerous ambassadors and their spouses. The fair provided a platform for showcasing cultural diversity and strengthening international ties through the promotion of traditional crafts and products.
