VN attends international tourism fair in Germany

VGP – A Vietnamese delegation including the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) together with more than 50 Vietnamese travel companies led by  General Director of the VNAT Nguyen Van Tuan, attended an international tourism fair ITB held in Berlin.

ITB is the biggest annual international tourism fair in the world with the participation of over 180 nations and territories.


General Director of the VNAT Nguyen Van Tuan highlighted the goal to position Viet Nam as a beautiful, friendly and safe country through tourism presentations at the fair.

Visiting Viet Nam’s booth, Parliamentarian Jurgen Klimke noted 2015 will mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries, and expressed his hope that bilateral relations will intensify.


In return, Vietnamese Ambassador in Germany Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh discussed expectations in tourism collaboration growth between Viet Nam and Germany at different levels such as State, businesses, and people.


This event also creates good opportunities for the Viet Nam businesses to discover potentials of international partners as well as to contract with them.


The ITB will remain open through March 8.
