VN, Cambodia join hands in facilitating border transport

Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung hailed huge and comprehensive achievements gained by Cambodia over recent years, especially in industry, commerce, service and investment at his meeting with Cambodian Deputy PM Ke Kim Yan on July 19 at Le Thanh-O Yadav international border gate in Central Highlands province of Gia Lai.

The host welcomed the Cambodian Deputy PM to attend the inauguration of the road connecting the Le Thanh-O Yadav international border gate on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties (1967) and a day before Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's State visit to Cambodia.

At the meeting, the two Deputy PMs consented that the two nations' relationship have been consolidated and strengthened, proposing the two sides enhance unity, cooperation and mutual support in the future.

The two leaders appraised the inauguration of the road which helps reduce expenditure and waiting time and facilitate the transport between the two countries in particular and the region in general, contributing to each nation's and the region's economic growth.

In the future, they agreed to promote close cooperation in facilitating cross-border transport, enhance management and guaranty of transport to develop the neighboring friendship and comprehensive cooperation relations between the two nations.
