The host leader voiced his hope that public security forces of both countries will enhance bilateral cooperation to ensure security and order, defeat all plots and activities by hostile forces, and fight all kinds of crimes.

Mr. Quang briefed PM Hun Sen about the outcomes of his earlier talks with the Interior Minister. He congratulated on Cambodia’s achievements and expressed his belief that the Cambodian people will continue to gain more successes in their national construction and development.

He said that both sides reviewed the bilateral cooperation between the two ministries in 2014 and signed a cooperative plan for 2015.

They agreed on measures to boost close cooperation in fighting hostile forces’ plots and attempts aimed at undermining the traditional friendship between the two nations and harming national security and social order in each country.

The two sides also agreed to work together to combat criminal and economic offenders, especially those engaging in the trafficking of drug, women and children, cross-border smuggling by road and air, and criminals on the wanted list.

They agreed on continuing effective coordination in ensuring security and order along the borderline and the development triangle in accordance with the joint statement reached by Vietnamese, Cambodian and Lao PMs during their 8th development triangle summit in Vientiane, Laos on November 25, 2014 and the joint statement reached at the 2nd Cambodia-Laos-Viet Nam ministerial meeting on anti-crime cooperation in Viet Nam on July 29, 2014./.
