VOV celebrates 60th anniversary of music show for children

Radio the Voice of Vietnam hosted a ceremony on Sunday to celebrate the 60th anniversary of its children choir and its music show for children.

VOV President Nguyen The Ky said that the show, which initially broadcast only music 15 minutes a day, now provides diverse contents to cater to children's different tastes.

We will never forget the contributors to the very first music show for children in Vietnam. They have encouraged more artists to produce music for children, Mr. Ky said.

The special program paid tribute to first song-writers and producers of the music show for children 60 years ago and included talks between listeners and famous composers such as Pham Tuyen, Hoang Lan, and Dang Hung.
