WB approves 72.5 million USD to improve Da Nang’s infrastructure

The World Bank has approved 72.5 million USD in additional financing to support infrastructure investments in Da Nang, an emerging city in central Vietnam.

Da Nang, Vietnam's fourth largest city, is considered well-planned and well-governed, with a strong commitment to becoming a 'green city' by 2025. The additional financing will support scaling up the Da Nang Sustainable City Development Project and minimizing pollution risks for the My An-My Khe coastal tourism area. Public transportation services are also targeted for improvement, through the establishment of an integrated fare system and intelligent transport system.
