WB to support Vietnam’s master strategy for tertiary education development

Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha called on the World Bank to help Vietnam improve the management of the education sector and the management of each university at a working session on Tuesday in Hanoi with World Bank representatives on developing a master strategy for Vietnam's tertiary education development until 2030 with a vision to 2045.

Nha said he hopes that by the end of this year the World Bank will help Vietnam complete the master strategy and design a set of norms and a policy frame.

Minister Nha asked the World Bank to work with universities on renovating management with a focus on targets, creativity, finances, and assessment indexes to ensure quality.
