Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), on Friday expressed his impression on Vietnam’s socio-economic recovery and macro stability and emphasized strong commitment to promoting cooperation with Vietnam. Meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Phnom Penh, Schwab said WEF will work closely with Vietnamese agencies to propose and implement substantive cooperation projects in line with Vietnam’s interests and WEF’s strengths such as Industry Revolution 4.0 linkage center, digital skills training for people, and green transformation promotion.

PM Chinh informed him of Vietnam’s economic recovery in the first 10 months of 2022 and orientations for fast and sustainable development in the long term. He asked for the WEF consultancy on building an independent and self-reliant economy associated with proactive international integration, and policies to stabilize the macro-economy in the volatile international environment.
