Businesses respond to Party leader’s call to overcome difficulties and pandemic

As reported earlier, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has appealed for people from all walks of life and overseas Vietnamese to join hands in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.

This has encouraged businesses to share difficulties and overcome the challenges.

Dinh Tuyet Nhung, Chairwoman of Bac Kan provincial Agri-pharmaceutical Collective Alliance, said the local business community has responded positively to the call.

This is a meaningful call from the Party leader. Our collective farm has joined efforts to send basic necessities to people in the south. We have initiated a favorable price policy for buyers of farm produce in pandemic stricken areas. We have arranged transport services for goods shipped to Hanoi and major supermarkets to prevent disruption,” Nhung said.

Vice President and Secretary General of the Vietnam Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Association, To Hoai Nam, said the Party leader’s call has strengthened determination to prevent the virus spread.

This appeal reflects the Party’s determination in earnest to join state agencies and the people in pandemic control. We have complied seriously with instructions in pandemic control and prevention while continued sharing difficulties facing workers and the society,” said Nam.
