China to open up more fully to the world, says Xi Jinping

 Xi Jinping who was re-elected on Sunday as General Secretary of the Communist Party of China for a third five-year term, says China’s development cannot be separated from the world.

Addressing a press conference in Beijing after the first plenary meeting of the CPC’s 20th Central Committee, Mr. Xi pledged that China will open up more fully to the world.

The Central Committee elected a 24-member Politburo, seven of whom are standing members, including Xi Jinping, Shanghai Communist Party chief Liqiang, Zhao Leji, Wang Huning, Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang, and Li Xi.
