Film week celebrates 80th anniversary of the Party’s first platform on culture

A film week celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Outline of Vietnamese Culture, the first platform on culture launched by the Communist Party of Vietnam, opened in Hanoi on Saturday.

The event which will run through March 3 nationwide is chaired by the Cinema Department in coordination with the departments of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of cities and provinces and the National Cinema Centre.

The selected films feature President Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam’s land, people and culture.

Among the films to be shown at the National Cinema Centre in Hanoi include “Bình minh d?” (Red Dawn) and “Nhà tiên tri” (Prophet), “H? Chí Minh, nam 1946” (Ho Chi Minh, the year of 1946) and “Nh?ng bu?c di ngo?i giao và m?t cu?c chi?n không mong mu?n” (Diplomatic steps and an unexpected war).

The documentary “Van hoá soi du?ng cho qu?c dân di” (Culture lights the way for the people to go) and the feature film “Red Dawn” were screened at the opening ceremony.
