A program on economic recovery and development is scheduled to be submitted to the National Assembly’s extraordinary session in late this year. Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Quoc Phuong said at a press conference on Thursday that five groups of solutions set in the program are strong enough to reboot and develop the national economy.

They cover such areas as health care; social welfare; support to businesses, cooperatives and households; and stimulation of public investment and administrative reform.

The Deputy Minister stressed that fiscal and monetary tools will be the mainstay of the proposed 2-year program.
