On August 4, the Standing Board of the Hanoi Party Committee held an opening ceremony of a training course to update knowledge for officials under the management of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee in 2022. According to the plan, the Standing Board of the City Party Committee will open three training courses to update knowledge for officials of the Standing Board of the municipal Party Committee in 2022 with a total of 707 participants. The first course, including 227 trainees in a total of 3 classes, is expected to be held in August 2022.

Trainees will study 6 topics in 3 days, including: Socio-economic situation in the country, in the world and of Hanoi in 2022, forecast the evolution of the situation; promote Party building and rectification along with studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style; synchronously renewing economic and political institutions in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party; culture in leadership, governance and management culture in Hanoi today; progress of the national digital transformation; the current world situation, the Party and State’s line and foreign policy and international integration.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen emphasized that during his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always attached great importance to training and fostering cadres. “Training cadres is the root work of the Party,” she said By doing well in training new cadres, there can be good cadres to serve the Party, the regime and the people, Tuyen said.

“Applying his thought, during the process of the revolution, our Party always paid attention to training and fostering cadres, considering the “training” of cadres as an important, regular and continuous job,” she said.

Fully assimilated in the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, the Hanoi Party Committee regularly pays attention to directing and renovating the training and fostering of cadres. In different periods and stages, based on practical requirements, Hanoi has actively conducted training and retraining of staff with many radical, breakthrough and innovative solutions suitable for practical requirements. As a result, a contingent of officials at all levels from the city to the grassroots level has been developed, meeting the city’s requirements of international integration and development.

Tuyen suggested that the trainees be aware of their responsibilities and ensure effective studying process, and assigned the Organization Committee of the City Party Committee and the Class Management Board to strictly enforce the rules and regulations of the class.

Tuyen called for the Le Hong Phong Staff Training School to create favorable conditions for trainees in all aspects during the course of the class. Districts, townships, affiliated party committees and units are tasked with supporting their officials to complete the requirements of the course.

Tuyen also expressed her thanks to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Thien, former Director of the Vietnam Institute of Economics and other staff. At the same time, she expected the class with thorough preparation, the strict and methodical organization of the Class Management Board, related agencies, the self-discipline and diligence of the students, will be a success.
