National Assembly deputies discuss economic and budget issues

National Assemmbly deputies on Saturday discussed in groups social economic development and state budget.

They acknowledged complicated and new development in the world and the country, although 14 out of 15 indicators surpassing target. Economic recovery momentum with GDP growth rate of 8% serves as a driving force for next year’s economic development.

 

Deputy Nguyen Quang Huan from Binh Duong province puts it: “We should maintain year-on-year growth rate of 8% from now on to reach an income of 7,000 US dollars per capita by 2030. I call for policy to encourage high-value supply chain penetration and move away from low-value production facilities”

 

In the afternoon, deputies reviewed amendments to the Bills on Collectives and Grassroots Democracy.
