National Digital Transformation Month launched

A month in response to National Digital Transformation Day and the TATU Audio Social Network were launched at a ceremony in Hanoi on Sunday.

October 10 is observed as National Digital Transformation Day in Vietnam, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung said, adding that October  has been designated digital consumption month to encourage people to enjoy the benefits that digital transformation brings.

According to Mr. Dung, Government agencies and businesses are offering discounts as high as 50% on digital products and services.

“The launch of the TATU social network – Vietnam’s first audio social network – is a response to National Digital Transformation Day,” said Dung, adding “Digital transformation of the radio industry promises to bring users more value. Every person can now become a broadcaster in his field of expertise.”

Deputy Minister Dung said he believes more digital platforms will arise to serve the needs of the Vietnamese people, and the Ministry of Information and Communications is committed to supporting digital businesses and making digital products and services accessible to the people.

A contest called  “Talk to all, Talk to you” was also launched to inspire audio content creators.
