-President Nguyen Xuan Phuc chaired a meeting in Hai Phong City on Wednesday to review national defense theory and practices in the new situation.

Addressing the event, the President emphasized the 11th Party Central Committee’s 8th plenum resolution on the Party’s leadership in national defense.

“People’s aspiration is decisive as President Ho Chi Minh said, therefore, all people’s national defense, warfare and security are key issues in national defense in security in all circumstances. National unity consolidation does matter in successful national defense,” he said.

The same day, President Phuc paid tributes to martyrs at Hai Phong City’s Heroic Martyrs Monument.
