The Vietnam Record Organization on Sunday certified a new Vietnamese record for the most dishes, 69, made from Ca Mau crab. 

The record was set at the first Ca Mau Crab Festival in Ca Mau city, where 15 teams competed in a culinary contest.

Sunset-Dat Mui Restaurant won the first prize of 850 USD. Second prize went to the Real Crab Cuisine Restaurant. Cantho Eco Resort and KTC’s Culinary Hot Pot and Grill Restaurant shared the third prize.

The Vietnam Record Organization also awarded the certificate of a culinary record for Asian specialties for the dish “U Minh fish sauce hot pot”.

The Ca Mau Crab Festival, themed “A cultural and culinary rendezvous”, will continue until the end of this year.
