North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles into the sea off its east coast on Tuesday, South Korea's military said Tuesday, a day after the US and South Korea began a regularly-scheduled military exercise.
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff reported the launch but did not provide any further details.
The launch came two days after North Korea test-fired what it called “two strategic cruise missiles” from a submarine last Sunday, after conducting a drill three days ago.
