Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said overseas Vietnamese are an integral part of the Vietnamese community, and the Party and State consistently support great national solidarity and helping overseas Vietnamese adapt to their host country while actively contributing to Vietnam’s development.

At a meeting on Sunday with overseas Vietnamese intellectuals in New York during his working trip to the US and the UN, Mr. Chinh said Vietnam is stepping up administrative reforms, developing infrastructure, forming a business climate matched to global trends, and gearing up high-quality human resources to attract investors to Vietnam.

He noted that Vietnam has an appropriate policy, competitive edge, and stable legal system that matches its international commitment to attracting foreign investment.
