Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong and deputies of the Hanoi National Assembly deputy delegation met with voters in Hanoi on Saturday. At the meeting, the voters praised the outcomes of the recent NA meeting and its decision on major national issues which they said have created a firm foundation for the operation of the government, ministries, sectors and localities.

They urged the NA to strengthen the supreme oversight over major issues including the law enforcement, performance of the electricity, oil and gas, coal, and mineral sectors, and inspection of the settlement of corruption cases.

Party leader Trong said that the NA deputy delegation will submit the voters’ opinions to the NA and relevant agencies.

The Party leader expressed his belief that the Hanoi Party Committee, administration and people will take the lead in enhancing national development.
