President Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged the central province of Ha Tinh to make full use of its deep water port, road and railway systems, and highly-determined people for stronger development. 

Working with provincial leaders on Monday, Mr. Phuc said that top priority should be given to resuming production and ensuring COVID-19 prevention and control, including vaccination.

“Ha Tinh must work together with neighboring Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces to form a new industrial hub. Focus should be placed on production, consumption and export. In addition to steel, its key hard currency earner, Ha Tinh should diversify its export items including OCOP products,” he said.

The same day, President Phuc visited Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation.
