Moscow on Tuesday said it was expelling three Swedish diplomats after Stockholm expelled three Russian diplomats over the conflict in Ukraine. The same day, Sweden’s Foreign Minister Ann Linde said Sweden will respond in a suitable manner to Moscow’s unjustified action.

One day earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that 40 staff of German diplomatic missions in Russia would be officially declared unwelcome and had summoned the German Ambassador to Moscow convey the decision.
