Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a special art program called “Belief and Aspiration” on Sunday, held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to welcome the National Culture Conference which opens Wednesday. Ta Quang Dong, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said, “The program’s theme conveys the message that culture is the foundation of spirit. The performances highlight the traditional values which uplift Vietnam’s spiritual life.”

The 100-minute program in Hanoi combined music, dance, and documentary video highlighting the leadership role of the Party and State in cultural development, and emphasizing the diversity and richness of the cultures in different regions of Vietnam.
