Spring Calligraphy Festival to open on January 15

The Spring Calligraphy Festival will open on January 15 at Hanoi’s Temple of Literature (Van Mieu), honoring the art and tradition of writing after a 2-year pause due to COVID-19. Highlighting the tradition of eagerness to learn and respecting teachers, activities will include a Calligraphy exhibition, traditional exam education space, and writing space.

At the Spring Calligraphy Festival, there will be other special cultural events: Introduction of traditional handicraft products, demonstration of poonah paper-making art, singing performance, spring food culture, and folk games.

The Festival will run until January 29 or the 8th day of the first lunar month.
