Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Monday assigned Thanh Hoa police to engage more in COVID-19 prevention and control, with a focus on quickly vaccinating people.

During a visit to local officials, soldiers, and policy beneficiaries ahead of the upcoming Lunar New Year, PM Chinh urged the police to maintain order and security, support Party building, and work with other forces to safeguard national independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security.

The same day, Mr. Chinh offered incense at the Ho Chi Minh memorial and Le Loi statue in Thanh Hoa city.
