National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on Sunday began an official visit  to the Republic of Korea (RoK) to boost cooperation in economics, investment, and labor, and people-to-people exchanges. Other topics for discussion include lawmaking experience sharing and supervision cooperation.

During the visit, representatives of the Governments of Vietnam and the RoK will sign a bilateral agreement on social insurance. This important agreement, the first of its kind between Vietnam and another country, will significantly benefit Vietnamese guest workers in the RoK.

Chairman Hue will reaffirm Vietnam’s support for upgrading bilateral ties to comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
