Vietnam reports 713 COVID-19 infections on Thursday

 

According to the Ministry of Health, from 12h30 to 6pm on Thursday, 264 cases were reported, 18 of them were quarantined upon arrival and 246 others detected in HCM City (152), Binh Duong (42), Tien Giang (22), Quang Ngai (9), Phu Yen (8 ), An Giang (5), Da Nang (3), Ha Tinh (2), Bac Ninh (2), and Bac Giang (1), 189 cases were detected in quarantined or locked-down areas. 407 patients were discharged from the hospitals the same day. Totally, Vietnam recorded 713 COVID-19 infections in the last 12 hours as of 6 pm on Thursday, 20 of them were quarantined upon arrival in Tay Ninh, An Giang, Kien Giang, Da Nang, and Hanoi and 693 cases were domestically transmitted. They include 464 in HCM City, 90 in Binh Duong, 38 in Tien Giang, 28 in Long An, 26 in Phu Yen, 11 in Hung Yen, 9 in Quang Ngai, 5 in Bac Giang, 5 in Ha Tinh, 5 in An Giang, 3 in Nghe An, 3 in Bac Ninh, 3 in Da Nang, 1 in Vinh Long, 1 in Binh Phuoc, and 1 in Dong Thap. 584 cases were detected in quarantined or locked-down areas.

By 6 pm Thursday, Vietnam has total 17,576 COVID-19 cases, 7,247 of them have fully recovered and 81 died.
