Vietnam’s exports rise sharply in 2021

 Vietnam earned more than 336 billion USD from exports last year, up 19% from the previous year, the Ministry of Industry and Tradereported on Sunday.

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien said despite a slew of difficulties, the country’s total trade export-import revenue hit a new record of nearly 670 billion USD.

Vietnam has maintained a trade surplus for the sixth consecutive year, with a value of over 4 billion USD, mainly with developed, demanding markets like the US and Europe.

Export growth was seen in markets engaging in FTAs with Vietnam like China, the US, the EU, ASEAN, and Shouth Korea.
