Vietnam’s seafood export in June rose 20% against the same period last year, bringing the total seafood export turnover in the first half of this year to 4.1 billion USD. 

As a result, the fisheries sector’s export target of 9 billion USD this year is feasible.

Vietnamese pangasius is much sought after in the US, EU, and China. China is the biggest importer of Vietnamese pangasius, accounting for 26%.
