As the upcoming Lunar New Year will be a time for social gathering, food safety and COVID-19 preventive measures should be taken, the World Health Organisation in Vietnam said on Tuesday.

WHO stressed the need for repeat COVID-19 vaccination and recommended frequent hand washing, wearing masks in crowded areas, mouth-covering when coughing, self-isolation if infected with COVID-19, and following health agencies’ instructions.
