-100% of agricultural administrative procedures will be linked to the National Single Window system in the first quarter of 2022, said the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on Tuesday. 

At Tuesday’s conference on implementing the administrative reform plan in 2022, Nguyen Xuan An, Deputy Director of the Organization and Personnel Department at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, said that to carry out the national and ASEAN single-window mechanisms, the Ministry has connected 29 of the 33 administrative procedures at its subordinate units and granted digital licenses to over 1.4 million dossiers via the National Single Window.

Currently, the Ministry has over 400 documents and nine specialized laws, which have initially been compatible with free trade agreement commitments and ensure the rights and interests of individuals, organizations and sector managers.

The Ministry said that this year it will handle administrative procedures online to enhance transparency and save time and costs and overhaul the institutional system on agriculture and rural development.
