The “Pink pinwheel”, a large blood donation campaign in Hanoi, will take place on Wednesday and Thursday.

The annual event is organized by the Hanoi Youth Association for Blood Donation and the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. Last year it drew 500 volunteers from universities in Hanoi.

This year’s event, the 9th, expects to collect 1,000 blood units.
