Asian countries resume pre-pandemic activities

Laos has planned to fully reopen its border in May. Entry procedures are the same as before the pandemic broke out plus a vaccine passport and proof of negative COVID test to be free from quarantine. Cambodia has removed mask mandate at outdoor public spaces nationwide.

Authorities in Hong Kong (China) have announced to remove the entry ban effective over the past two years for non-citizens.

Authorities in Seoul, South Korea, will allow large crowds to attend outdoor festivals.

COVID restrictions have been relaxed in Malaysia, starting Wednesday.

510 million COVID-19 cases and 6.2 million deaths had been reported worldwide as of Wednesday noon, according to worldometers.info.
