The 19th Asian Games (ASIAD) will be held from September 23 to October 8, 2023 in Hangzhou city of China, according to the organizers’ latest announcement released on Tuesday. The decision was agreed upon by the host country China and the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) after two months discussions.

The 19th ASIAD was originally scheduled for September this year. However, on May 6, the OCA said that it was forced to postpone the Games due to the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in China.
