-Bac Ha Autumn Festival 2022 opened on Saturday in Bac Ha district, Lao Cai province, with fascinating cultural performances and sports games.
This is a unique tourism product of the Bac Ha white plateau in order to promote Bac Ha’s culture in particular and Lao Cai in general to a large number of tourists and to stimulate tourism after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Visitors participated in traditional crafts of making Com or young rice at the Bac Ha Night Market. In addition, there was a sports tournament to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of Bac Ha Liberation Day (September 20), the “Northwest-Lao Cai Marathon 2022”, a folk dance contest, a traditional costume show, and autumn events at Hoang A Tuong Palace.
Bac Ha district was expected to welcome 30,000 tourists during this Autumn Festival, which ended on Sunday, and to continue organizing the Winter Festival in December.
Bac Ha aims to welcome 350,000-400,000 visitors by the end of this year.
