COVID-19 victims remembered on Washington’s National Mall with 670,000 white flags

An art installation of more than 670,000 white flags representing Americans who have died of coronavirus are placed over 20 acres of the National Mall in Washington DC. The outdoor art installation titled, In America: Remember, by social practice artist Suzanne Brennan Firstenberg, is scheduled to stand for 17 days from Friday.
